Screen Breaks Up Into Lines

I am new to this forum, but I'm having a major problem with Windows 7.

I've had this issue in Build 7100 X86 and X64 and 7600 X64. I've used both the Default Driver and the Driver directly from Intel.

I have an Intel Mobile 4 Express graphics card.

I don't know how to describe it, so I took some screen captures.

Also occuring on 7264.

This is a real show stopper bug.

I was jsut about to post about this! Its happened to me since around pre-rc maybe around build 7048. I was just surprised that its still happening in build 7264

edit: Also I'm use a nVidia gforce 6150SE nForce 430

it appears to be data corruption in the video buffer. Have you tried dropping back a version in your graphic drivers?

Yeah it reminds me of artifacts I would get when I would overclock my memory to high on gfx. I would recomend going from the latest drivers and to the oldest one by one? or see if anyone found an older stable driver for your card. =S

I'm not really sure if that's possible.

The Windows 7 drivers are the default ones that come with the RC.

=( You could try and see if they have any Vista drivers out for that chipset? I'm sorry I was really tired last night and thought the 7600 was GFX, that's what i get for staying up to late =P but anyways that's a crappy bug if it's the default drivers =(

The Windows 7 drivers are the default ones that come with the RC.

Try these, you may have to run them in Vista compatibility... These are for the Intel Mobile 4 Express Chipset...

64 bit:

I've had this occur a couple of times so far with the 186.18 x64 nvidia driver on Win 7 RC x64 (7100). Never as bad as your worst example, but annoying nonetheless. I'm installing a EVGA 9800GT tomorrow and we'll see if it happens again. I think it's the driver though...

It could also happen due to dust problem..

I had corruption issues with the 965 in earlier versions, but the older vista drivers always ended up correcting it...

do you have dual boot? can you see this issue with vista/xp as well? or just with windows 7?

The problem is worse the higher the resolution of the screen.

I'm trying those vista drivers now.

Well the issue I described has gone away yes, but..

Using the Vista drivers, every 20-30 minutes the screen flashes on and off saying the drivers stopped but recovered.
