Screen goes black- one login only

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

With my primay login, the desktop will display for a few seconds and then the screen goes black. It also sometimes is solid orange. Orange is the color I have for my Windows theme. If I login under Admin or another user everything seems fine.

A little background. Lately when I login under the primary account it will display the desktop, and then the screen would flash- go black for a couple seconds and then come back on and everything would be fine.

I'm not so sure it's the same issue, and I'm hesitant to download something from a website when they won't even identify what the culprit is- just here, drink our magic elixir!

And when this happens on my computer, Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't bring up the Task Manager.

I think I found it issue...sorta. I had used EVGA Precision yesterday to set my graphics card to max settings. So I opened Precision thru the Admin account and turned down the settings and was able to get into the primary account. Strange that it only had that effect on one user isn't it?
