Screen Recordings Always Really Dark?

Hello,
I've been having a recurring problem with any kind of screen capture/video recording programs. I have tried a myriad of programs, and I have the same problem with all. Whenever I record, the recording always comes out way too dark, and you practically can't see at all. It's not just my monitor, as you can view the recordings on different devices and it still looks the same. I've tried increasing the brightness in an editing program, but it just ends up looking grainy or it simply doesn't help at all. Any advice is greatly appreciated. My latest program is liteCam 100FPS Video Recorder.

That is really strange. Try this program - it is a Microsoft program that produces very high quality output - an example from my youtube site. It is a captured PowerPoint picture show. This free version limits you though to 10 minutes each time. For longer recordings, I make it in stages and paste it together with Movie Maker.

I lighten videos with MS Movie Maker. That usually works pretty well.

Hmm, will try that. You can see an example of what I mean here, on a video I posted.
I tried raising the brightness in WMM, and that helped a little. I then tried to raise it in the Youtube editor, and as you can tell, that just made the quality terrible.

Your video looks plenty bright to me, but does have some pixelating and color mis-alignment.

Thanks guys, but I've actually figured it out. Well, sort of. I've realized by looking at some videos and posted screenshots I made online, I could see that for some reason the videos only appeared dark on my computer, but looked fine if I uploaded them directly to YouTube. I couldn't care less how they look on my computer just withstanding they look pretty on the internet, so problem solved I suppose.

Odd, have you tried other screen recorders? This is out of my area of knowledge but, maybe using a different format would help.
