Condition:
1. Program open in XP mode - even if minimized.
2. Switch to a different user.
3. Switch back to 1st user.

Message:
"Screen resolution of your monitor has changed" with the options "Refresh Now" or "Cancel"

Choosing either option clears message.

I think the display resolution of the VM (which cannot be changed by the user but varies with the size of the open window) is confusing Win 7.

Any insight and a way to stop message from popping up?

I do not have a fix for you, sorry. I just wanted to tell you that you can change the resolution and color depth in XP Mode if you disable the integration features.
