:oI reinstalled Windows a couple of days ago. Everything was fine, I downloaded all the drivers I needed. the Aero theme worked, and my resolution worked and looked just like before.

A day or two later the screen resolution changed itself to something weird. The icons and everything was much bigger and it wasn't as detailed, a little smudged.

I always used my computer at 1280x1024 resolution and it was the perfect one. It worked also after I reinstalled. Now when I am on it, it looks stretched an smudged and the text isn't as clear. Im now using 1600x900 and its better, but still not perfect. I really need help
Edit: windows says my driver is up to date. AMD Radeon

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Did you update your chip set ?

Either way you should be using the Recommended resolution for the monitor which is what by the way ?

Also click start and type in the search box
dpi
Hit the enter key or click on Make text and other items larger or smaller.
What does it say ?

Also so use the link above my signature to Fill in your system spec's page.
