Screen Resolution to big

Hello everyone i wanted to know if anyone can help me fix my screen resolution in windows 7 everything is just so big and i tried changing the screen resolution and nothing will happen and when i try to see if theres any necessary updates in windows 7 and nothing can anybody help me??

What Windows build are you using and what sort of connection do you use to connect to your monitor, DVI or VGA.

It can be allot more helpful if you fill in your system specs, you can see the link on the bottom left side of the post.

When i installed windows 7 as soon as it logged in to the desktop everything was big

which ones? i have a dell dimension B1150

What video card are you using and have you looked for updated drivers for it, what sort of monitor is it, LCD or CRT and is it the older style connection (VGA) or a Digital Connection (DVI) which is larger then a VGA connection and has more pins.

I believe its a VGA and im not home right now so i wouldnt know what kind of monitor it is all i know that its a dell monitor that was released about 5 years ago

Hi Jordan,

You might also check to see if may be your DPI settings that are not set to the default 96 DPI.

do you think boot camp from apple will work cuz one of my friends said he had the same problem and when he used it it put his screen to the size its supposed to be
