I think 1 minute is a little too short of time, try increasing at least to 10 to 15 minutes, and see what happens.

I changed it to 15 minutes and that didn't do it. When I came back to my PC the screen saver (photos) was on. I clicked on the program I wanted to use. It came on and I started typing and almost immediately the screen saver came on. Very annoying.
