Hi,

I have had this problem since i recently bought my new laptop.

I got my laptop in December of 2009 and it is a Hp Pavilion dv7 with windows 7 Home premium 64-Bit.

The screen randomly turns black and then it turns on again and everything is normal again but i get a pop up saying that there was an error in the display driver.

I tried to solve the problem with and this is the report that came up.

First we need the actual DMP file. use these to find and upload it to us. http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/34900-1-novice-how-ask-help-bsod-problem.html

It is telling you that there is a problem with your video driver. You need to go to nvidia and download the newest version.

Completely uninstall the current driver, and only install the driver, not the other junk that comes with it

Let us know if you need help
