Screens turn color's audio freezes

Guys,
I ave an issue that I have had since I got my computer that was a slight annoyance, but now its turning into a larger issue. Im not quite sure what hardware it is from though. What happens is both my screens turn colors, in xp they turned into a plaid wall of death, in vista the colors changed quite often, in osx they went shades of grey, and finally in 7 they turn black and white. My audio works for about five seconds then turns to shudders. does anyone know which piece of hardware this could be from??? Personally I think its the video cards.

Graphics card i would say,though if i remember rightly i had that issue before with xp home edition and it turned out to be bad RAM though i am not sure why,just upgraded with new RAM and problem solved

well I have had 2 sets of ram in here....

then again there is the chance its the mobo cause i tried to upgrate to 8 gb instead of 4 gb at one time each stick worked but i would BSOD at boot.
