BACKGROUND
I have 3 computers here on my desk, linked with Synergy:
Both TOP and LEFT to run Screensaver with only one 'photo.' I have set both to show the Bing wallpaper of the day. I want to use that same 'photo' as the single screensaver image. SO THAT both can have running Gmail, or Twitter, or... any other updating app. Then I diligently work on my CENTER workstation while my TOP and LEFT screens sit dormant showing the nice Bing daily image as screensaver. When I mouse up, instantly my Gmail All Mail folder appears, then a minute later if I leave it alone, it reverts to screensaver.
Ditto for LEFT, with perhaps Gmail Priority Inbox, or... you know, as the underlying app. Cool idea, right?
WHAT IS GOING WRONG NOW
TOP will show the screensaver but it slidshows through every past Bing wallpaper image. In 'Personalize' I find the folder for Bing themes and select it. Then with Windows Explorer, I navigate to the folder and delete old images. Then when the screensaver kicks in, it is still the slideshow of all the images. When I navigate to the folder, it has repopulated itself with all the images I deleted. HOW CAN I actually delete the older images?
LEFT just sits there. Screensaver won't work at all. I have all the Windows options set correctly, mirroring the settings for TOP. No screensaver. The best I can do is set a 'power' setting to 'black' the screen after a minute. But no screensaver. HOW CAN I make the Lenovo Laptop Win 7 run screensaver?
WHEW! If you guys can not guide me, I will just let all the dormant screens go to black quickly. Thanks for considering my wild and crazy idea.
