As the title says, I can't write to my SD card because it has write protection enabled, even though I did not enable it.
It just suddenly happened. The lock slider is not set to lock. I've tried some methods around the net but none of them worked.
Some people have suggested this :
However it seems my system does not have a "StorageDevicePolicies" entry in the registry. I can get down to "Control" before hitting a brick wall on that method.
Thanks in advance.

If the card does not have a write protect tab, then it is probably a software issue. Try this:
open Regedit and navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies
If there is a WriteProtect key (REG_DWORD) then
1 = Write Protect On
0 = Write Protect Off
If there is a 1, then change the 1 to 0 to disable write protection.
However it seems my system does not have a "StorageDevicePolicies" entry in the registry. I can get down to "Control" before hitting a brick wall on that method.
Thanks in advance.
