SD memory card problems plz help!!!

ey guys
my pc has ports for SD memory cards and such, and after upgrading from vista to win 7 no SD cards will read, nor will they read while the card is in my mob phone while trying to access it through the phones software.

could it be some sort of driver problem?
however the phones manufacturer website contains no win 7 drivers.

any ideas thanks!

In the device manager, do you have yellow exclamation points next to your card reader? If so, you need to install drivers. Go to your laptop website and download the appropriate drivers and install them, in compatibility mode if necessary.

Most if not all Vista drivers will work with Windows 7 - if you cannot find specific drivers for windows 7 try the vista ones on the manufacturers website first - if these do not work you may be able to use drivers from the manufacturer of the actual hardware if you can discover this.

If you can post your full system details I'm sure someone will try to find the relevant drivers if your own search fails

That doesn't matter. Just check your device manager, then download the missing drivers from HP.
