Hello,

Happy Holidays to all.

Regarding the Search box and function in W7.

I searched for a Folder that happened to be "buried" about three or so Folders deep.
Did the normal kind of search; just put the name of the Folder in the box.

Didn't find it.
Tried several times without any luck.

Then I went to the See More Results, and the "Computer" option at the very bottom, and it found it. There was the green bar showing search progress, and I guess it took about 20 seconds to search "everything".

Question: why didn't placing the Folder name in the normal search box find it ?

Would hate to have to do the Computer search thing each time it doesn't find something, due to the time involved.

Are there any "rules" covering when each is effective, etc. ?

Thanks,
Bob
