Searching "Computer" does not yield anything...

Weird issue, when I double click "Computer" icon in desktop, it will show me list of volumes. On that window, if I search for something (meaning my search target is my whole computer), it did sound like starting to search, but the "Address bar" doesn't show the usual "Progress bar" indicator. I can search normally in individual volumes/folders, just not globally... Any ideas?

Ps. no System Restore needed, no Repair Install needed, sfc /scannow yield no error, this is a production system.

I think that is normal behavior. If you want to search the entire system, type in Win+F and type in the search box

edit: Actually, this isn't normal behavior lol. Go to start menu and type in "indexing options" and hit enter. Make sure your drivers are properly indexed

Hmm... I must be missing something...

I did mess with "Indexing Options", I added all of my volumes in there completely ignoring the "warning" that indexing whole computer might slow Indexer down... which is absurdly idiotic beyond help. So... now it's indexing ~700k items (that's a small number of items to index, plus the Indexing process is done). Now when I search for anything, with or without indexing, every search is slow (or maybe I'm searching into a too large dataset?) and that issue of searching "Computer" doesn't show anything.

The weird thing is, if I delete the Index data, it will search the whole "Computer"... is it the expected behavior?
