Solved Searching for safe adblockers for browsers (both android and desktop)

I downloaded two browser ad blockers for Android from Play Store - "Brave" and "Free Adblocker Browser"

1. Are these safe? I'm a bit paranoid about malware, etc.
2. Any recommendations for safe browser ad blockers for desktop?
