Ok so eight forums didnt work with dolphin (ipad) so im trying it out here instead.

I've had this problem a long time but it didnt get obvious until recently that something wasnt right.
I got the Asus VG248QE 144hz, moved my old primary monitor to the left and my good old HP 2009v is on the right, the 144Hz is incredibly smooth and fluid obviously, but my old primary monitor had ALOT more stutter than it used to have.
I tried setting the old primary monitor (BenQ) so it was the primary one instead (in windows 8.1) and it became super smooth (60Hz) and the 144Hz one started to stutter instead!

i have looked around on the internet to find a soloution but there are few soloutions and mostly people saying they also have the problem...
The things i found (nvidia forums) was that this didnt happen when they downgraded the drivers/geforce experience, i dont want to do this if its not necessary because old drivers arent really the best thing..
One said that it worked if you went into the nvidia control panel and changed between multi monitor performance to singel monitor performance; didnt work.

one also said that the problem was fixed if you whent into BIOS (dont know if its GPU or MOBO bios) and set HDCP (i think) to 64Bit, didnt find anything in mobo bios and in the control panel there was a category for it, but there was just info on what it was, no options

If anyone has a soloution please tell me, and if you think it helps to downgrade drivers then i need help with that :/..

Thank you

I hope hanging up your harddrives in rubber-bands for noise reasons isn't too harmful for the drives :S, but eh, rather silence than lasting drives.. :|
Hmm you ay downgrading the driver is not a good thing but until you try it how are you going to know. There have been plenty of posts just recently where the newest drivers have caused problems and one fellow I have just advised to downgrade to an older version found it worked a treat.

Plus my new laptop would not even recognize the on board (separate GPU) it had until I installed he older driver. It is only a matter of uninstalling the old and installing the new one - you can always revert;).

Cannot lose anything by trying - to me anyway

I have had problems with HDMI connected monitors stuttering. My cable got bent, swapping to another cable fixed the stutter. Only noticed that with video.
