Second hard drive not detected

Hello ::

Configuration of my desktop::

Processor and board
AMD athlon 7750 dual core
ASUS M2N68 - AM se2

Ram :: 4 GB DDR2 transcend 800MHZ x 2

Geforce 8600GT 1GB

Segate Baracuda 7200 512GB x 2


Problem started after i upgrade my RAM to 2 GB DDR2 transcend 800MHZ x 2

One of my Hard drive is not detected(Even in Bios)

Any suggestions to fix this issue would be appreciated .

Have you verified that the cables from the hard drive to the power supply and motherboard are still properly connected?

If after you check to make sure the cable going from the drive to the motherboard are connected properly; you still have the issue; its possible you could have a bad drive. But heres another thing to check for. Check the bios to see if the bios is configured to detect the second drive. Technically the second drive should be automatically detected by the bios; but if its not and you already have checked the cables etc.; it sounds to me like you could have some sort of hardware issue with the drive itself.
