http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/26829-convert-dynamic-disk-basic-disk.html
Where the data backup? I'm bit confuse with basic and dynamic disc. Currently my local hard drive is full. My hdd is about 431G/500G. and my laptop does not detect my hdd.
Hope you can help.
Thanks.
Regards,
Cherlynn
Hello Cherlynn, and welcome to Seven Forums.
Since your HDD is already unallocated space, you would just need to start at step 7 in OPTION FOUR of that tutorial. As long as nothing goes wrong or a mistake is made, it should restore the HDD without loss of data.
