I have encounter a usb virus named secure browsing shortcut. Any things that i copy into the pendrive automatically moved into the shortcut. I have tried to use the usbfix but the virus keep coming back into the pendrive although that i never plug the pendrive to another pc. i have also try to format the pendrive. How can i solve this problem and any help?

Unless you really need that pendrive or it was very expensive why not just buy a new one and get rid of the infected one as you'll never know 100% you totally cleaned it

Then problem is not the pendrives themselves. There must be something nasty running on your computer right now that seems to target pendrives for distribution. Disabling autorun will ensure that no bad code runs on pendrive insertion (which is how viruses are transmitted though them, relying on that Windows "feature"), but that will be of no help if you don't remove viruses in your own computer first.

cheyangz,

When you used USBFix, did you use the Deletion option?

When the computer restarts during the USBFix process, a prompt appears to click OK and start the cleaning. Did you do so?

A report is produced by USBFix when it is done. Will you please post it in your reply?

Thanks!
