I signed up to beta test Security Essentials however I have not been able to download the software. Is there a way for me to get the latest version?

Suggest you go back thru CONNECT and verify if you are approved yet.
it does take MS time to approve Beta test.

There are also plenty of non-warez, non-torrent sites out there offering the legitimate downloads.
