I had a lady I know call me yesterday. Her computer was acting weird. I ran my usual diagnostics and the only thing it found were 2 things: "SecurityCenter.Disabled"
I am assuming that is not good. She has XP SP3 and because I don't have that I finished the rest of my work and her AV, McAfee, found no viruses.
I keep telling her McAfee is crap and that she has to get rid of it. I guess she is waiting until her subscription ends either in December or January. But being that I found 2 infections with the security center being disabled, I am stumped, everything in there was turned ON but does that also mean that it could be malfunctioning?
