Solved seeing a box on the screen!

hi!

Please open the attachment and the place where i have drawn a circle that box seems to annoy me.It comes all of a sudden when i refresh or open a program,it is not always reopen closed tab it can be anything after i press refresh or if a open a new window in the browser.

I just want to know how to get rid of this.

Wow. I sometimes get this kind of behavior with Firefox, and I can always make it go away by just putting my mouse over the thing that's showing up.

when i right click on the desktop and click refresh the refresh button stays on the dekstop and sometimes when i click on reopen closed tabs that button stays on the screen and doesn't go away.I have to log off and log back in to get rid of the problem.


help would be appreciated

It has me Sorry. Maybe it could be a memory issue? Do you have any other problems such as things not closing fully down?

Ok it's very strange I use to get the odd problem like this having to many applications open but it would go away and it not i would do a restart and when i turn it back on it would be fine. Did you try a full shutdown?

I have to either change the monitor resolution or i have completely shut down and restart the machine.Only then it works and it comes back again.

Ok, this sounds like a display driver problem to me. Did you recently upgrade to the latest driver for your 4350? Sometimes the latest driver can actually cause problems instead of solving them.

What I'm asking is, did you recently update to the latest one? Sometimes that's the cause of problems, especially for older video cards.

ACtually i had uninstalled the older versions of display driver and now i installed a fresh copy of the driver from amd.com

Oh, then the answer to my question is "yes". I recommend uninstalling this "fresh copy" and going back to the previous version. As I said, sometimes the latest driver can do nothing but cause problems.

I thought the installer would still be on your computer.

I don't know what version you had before, but here is a large list of their previously-released Catalyst Drivers:

I found this with the help of Google because I couldn't figure out how to find this page using AMD's site.
