Seeking program to create system restore points

The process for creating system restore points in Win7 seems unnecessarily convoluted to me and, as a result, I don't create them as often as I should; I'd like to just click on an icon to create one. I've found some apps for doing just that, but they're all on somewhat sketchy looking sites. Can someone recommend one they've actually used without problems? Thanks.

Why do you think that the restore point creation is complicated. It has to fit the whole system into appr. 1GB and this is a formidable task in itself. If you want a more straight forward approach, use imaging. But I warn you - those programs use the VSS service of system restore.

Why do you think that the restore point creation is complicated.

It takes the user several clicks to initiate the process. It should only take one. See Layback Bear's link.

Please be polite to whs.
Each one of us try to help.
You are very welcome.

Using more than one click is really not all that difficult to do either.

I spend a lot of time in the forum tutorial so I might be more familiar with them than other members. Yet just about everyday I'm pointed to another tutorial that I didn't know it existed. Their must be thousands of them.

Jack, thanks for the help. I think he is OK. I do however not understand what the big deal is when you have to click more than once.

I can never remember where I have to click (old timers disease), so I've kept this program
Download System Restore Manager - MajorGeeks
on my desktop for 6 months.
It makes it easy for me to see all the restore points and create when I want one without trying to remember how to do it through the OS.

That Restore Manager is a good program. Hang on to it.
