Solved seemingly random bsod, more often when gaming (WoW)

That's the second time the ASMedia USB 3.0 driver has come up. Do you have anything plugged into it? I would uninstall AI Suite then install a new version of the ASMedia driver. The USB 2.0 Drivers are in your Chipset drivers usually. If you have any questions, just ask.

As always thank you for your rapid reply. I probably won't get around to that till tonight or tomorrow morning, but I'll report back once I put it through the paces again.

Thanks again!

Uninstalled AI suite then ran the cleaner in safe mode.
Uninstalled ASmedia 3.0 drivers and reinstalled.
Wife had keyboard plugged into a usb 3.0 slot, switched it to a 2.0.
Ran sfc /scannow. zero integrity violations.
I'm hopeful that we've fixed it. Going to have the waifu game this afternoon while the kidos sleep. Will update.

Everything was running flawlessly since I last posted till just now. I ran the Windows integrated Experience Index (not sure if this is a no no), to stress the systems a tad while monitoring temps. All temps were well within acceptable range (CPU didn't go over 41C and GPU didn't go over 58C). First time I ran it everything went well, but it came up with a really low score for the primary hard drive (Patriot pyro 120GB SSD). The score was 5.9/7.9. My similarly rated Corsair Force GT scores 7.9/7.9. So I ran the test again and the computer froze w/ no BSOD. Stayed frozen for over an hour before I forced the reboot. I suppose this isn't the ideal stress test (don't know what windows is testing at time of failure). I ran prime95 on the system for about an hour w/ zero faults and CPU temps stable (under 50C). My apologies if this is getting monotonous, and I really appreciate all your help and guidance so far. I have really learned a great deal and it's been fun. Any other tools you recommend to maybe narrow down what's causing the freeze? Like GPU or HDD/SDD stress testers?

I suspect it froze on the SSD. Make sure your firmware is up to date on the SSD. It is not the fastest SSD, but should score much higher than it did. Try running AS SSD( Download AS SSD Benchmark - MajorGeeks) and ATTO benchmarks. (Download ATTO Disk Benchmark - MajorGeeks) make sure you are selecting the benchmark and not an add (sometimes it is hard to tell) and watch out for the add ons they try to install with it. Just uncheck the add ons and they won't install.

Well I'm confident that the BSODs are gone. A few days now with zero BSODs or freezes!! You have been awesome, I really appreciate all the time you spent helping me troubleshoot. I've gone ahead and marked this as resolved.
