I started having issues about 5 days ago, I had a couple of games crash but it was hours/days apart. On Sunday watching Netflix, Firefox crashed repeatedly. Over the course of two hours I had about 4 or 5, and a bluescreen.
Then games started crashing more regularly and firefox kept up its crashes. It also had regular page crashes. VLC/WMP also crashed on opening video files. Switching output, to OpenGL from Auto fixed this.

I made sure GPU drivers were up to date, even wiped them and clean installed. I did a memtest, no issues. I tried using Chrome and it has the same problems.

I just formatted and reinstalled and am having the same issues again, but they seem reduced.
Any ideas on what could be causing it how to fix it?

Hello and welcome RQJC now mate there is no BSOD dump file listed in your attachmet so can you try again using these
Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD
&
Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

You have quite a few problem devices listed in the msinfo32 and I think it might be worth tracking down what those drivers are see pic.

The memtest just which test did you use because we only recommend one see this per written ditty
MEMTEST
Now to make absolutely we are on the same page the memtest linked here is the*only*one we recommend and it MUST be run for at least 8 passes or you may as well not bother. It is rather lengthy and best left for a downtime for that machine - overnight is good. Having said that you can stop the test if errors show up while you are around and then it is a matter of tracking down the bad stick of RAM.* RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Can you also run these
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Disk Check < if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2 (if you are going to use the /r switch there is no need for the /f switch)
Run these in safe mode and the sfc often best run for two to three runs – you can leave out the /r switch in ckdsk if you feel it not necessary

I know you have only just reinstalled but there could have been corruption even so.

Thanks for the reply. Havent had a BSOD since I saw your post and ran through the log instructions. I'll update with the dump when it happens next.

I ran Check disk and it was all fine.

SFC - showed me this message "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them" I have the CBS log and have uploaded it.

Will run Memtest tonight, as I only used the Windows memory check.

Hi Rqjc,
According to your logs
sfc is trying to repair them on next reboot.
BUT you reboot into SAFE mode and the operation is cancelled - no fix performed.

please run sfc again and reboot into normal mode
then repost the CBS log.

Ok mate go with what Roy has posted first and the memtest if you do it do let it run for at least 8 passes unless errors are thrown up fairly quickly then you can stop it and check for the offending sticks - if there errors.

Now very occasionally it can be the slots that are bad and in that case it takes a tediously long time to tack it down. But that is not a common thing to happen to be honest.

Thanks for the help. I had some time to test things and it turns out it was a bad stick of RAM.

Still under warranty as is a few month old system so no dramas.

Good to hear mate so at least it was covered by warranty, but annoying at the same time seeing it was a new stick eh?
