seems like hang up

guys,i have problem about my pc seems like hang up,but the cusor work and if i point the cursor to icon in taskbar and click cant lunch any icon down there,but in the disktop shortcut icon like browser it lunch but you cant type in a search bar ill try to reboot and it begin normal and after 5 to 10 min.hang up again what is a possible problem please help.....

Have you tried a System Restore to a date before the problem started?

If that does not work, try this:

Type cmd in the search box, right click on cmd.exe and select Run as administrator.

At the C:\ prompt, enter sfc /scannow. This will check for corrupt system files and try to repair them.

and check hdd
