Selective allow programs to create restore points
Is is possible to selectively allow certain programs to create restore points like firewall's allow programs to communicate through firewall?

You can create tasks that will create restore points upon certain system/program events.
It's a slight bit more involved than just allowing a program through a firewall though.
To get you started on that path here is a basic tutorial on creating tasks in general.
