Sensative Touch Pad- read all the help forums none have worked
I have a Sony Vaio (VGN-NW125J). We had to reinstall windows 7 (64 bit) recently due to a bug. Once it was re-installed my touch pad is so sensative right now that I don't even have to touch the pad for it to jump all over the place. SO frustrating.
According to the help forums it suggests going into mouse settings. I have no settings that include touch pad anywhere. So than I downloaded from synaptics... that did not resolve the issue.
Please help.

Up in the Windows task bar there is usually an icon for the Synaptics Touchpad. Right click on that to get to the settings.
The first thing to Uncheck is the "Tap to Click" feature which drives a lot of folks nuts.
Additional settings are available that may help also.
If the behavior can't be corrected in the settings, let us know.

Doh! Sorry. I place my task bar on the top of the screen and have to remember that most people don't.
Yes you are correct: bottom of the screen, where notifications are found.
