A few hours ago our "new" server had a drive failure, I've restored our latest backup which was about 18 hours old at the time of the crash.

I have no faith in the "new" server now and have switched back to our old one so DNS may take a while to update for some people.

I sorry for any data loss, but sometimes these things just cant be helped.

This machine was given to me when my dad bought a new computer. I keep throwing upgrades at it and it keeps on ticking. Think I've done everything to it that can be done outside a PSU upgrade so I can run an even BETTER GPU.
Lost about 6-8 hours of work.

Is it possible to mirror the data or have some other kind of real time backup?

Not with the stuff we have, but as usual with this sort of thing I'll look back and see what else could be done to avoid any future dataloss.

Ok so the plan is in the early hours of Saturday morning I will setup MySQL replication to our backup server, that way we should always have a fully complete database backup if needed.

The site will be offline for about 1 hour while I sync the servers.
