Set Desktop Icon View

Hi How can I set Desktop Icon View to Small Icons by GP/registry/ in Windows 7

I need to deploy this setting to 6000 PC's and want a automated way to achieve same.

So, you could just make a reg file and include it in the deployment set.

I tried this on my desktop. I changed the value from 32 to 64, and then logged off and back on. It just reverts back to 32. I am guessing that when I log out windows saves the current setting.

Is there a place to change the value for a new users, or set the default registry? Then any new user would get the setting I desire, being small 32.
