Hello all,

Is there a built-in way/tool of Windows 7 to setting a password on a folder? If yes, how? If not, so what another good tool is your suggestion?

Thanks.

To my knowledge there is no such tool, you could use winrar or something to compress it and set the password on it.

If you think you'd be fine with paying, there are tools such as "Folder Lock" Or "Protected Folder" Whitch chost 20-40$.

The folder-lock tool is a professional tool which has more features than WinRAR and of course the main work of it, is the HIDING of the folder! I think the WinRAR tool be more simple and also does the locking of the folder suitably.
