Setup does not show up

First, make sure that you burn the iso as a disc image, not data... make sure that your dvd drive is set as the first boot device...then boot from the disc.. let us know if you need more help...

This does appear to be a hardware fault.
I see from your system specifications that you are upgrading from XP. If you have not already, please run the windows 7 upgrade advisor and let us know the results:
Download details: Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor
You can also try to install Win7 with minimal hardware: Unplug/ disconnect all other devices except what you need for a basic install. Leave only the required hard disk drive and the one DVD unit. We can plug these back in after the operating system has installed. You may also consider removing any cards in the motherboard slots that are non-essential to the install.

Where did you get your copy from? Why not just buy the disk from some (r)e-tailer?

google "HashTab", install that, right click your file, go to the "hash" tab... paste in the MD5 hash value.

adr3n - Some thoughts:
- Did you unplug all non install-critical hardware prior to the install?
- Have you tried alternative isntallation media. Perhaps borrow a windows 7 disk rfom a friend, or download the USB version.
- Is your DVD connected via IDE, SATA or something else? (we may change the physical location on the motherboard prior to install)

You can use memtest86 bootable CD to test RAM better than in Windows.
Try also swapping out sticks, and removing all but 2gb.

Do you have the latest BIOS version update? Check your computer or mobo maker's Support Downloads webpage for your model.
While in BIOS check the SATA controller setting. Try AHCI first, then IDE if neccessary.
