the sf team and admin propose and vote who we think are worthy candidates,MS make the decision ultimately.
there are lots of criteria for being chosen, its not about who has been here the longest ,sadly, as that puts me out the running.

We have some awardees for sure. But we know that all those awards or anything does not make a man (or woman).

When the OP says your post helpes me... it is the biggest award for me .... in my short span technical posting adventure. Anything else is just a side effect.

We are the best windows 7 help forum... logically we deserve more awardees. If not today, may be tomorrow. I just can say that you, who are our top and best .... may not have an official badge, but you are as important as the badge holder. We all accept the truth.

A Hoosier is someone that lives in Indiana. I have no idea how they got that name.

And it is the nice meaning, not the St Louis meaning. People from Ohio are called Buck Eyes here. I think people here would be shocked to find out it is also a derogatory term. This film is known as Hoosiers here but Best Shot elsewhere. Some of it was filmed in the town I live in in Indiana.
