Could they not be put in alphabetical order i.e.
Search comes before
Send etc. etc.
Make it easier to find what you're looking for. I was going to point someone towards a Tut here put gave up. Was easier to write it myself.

When the tutorials are written they're named so as to be in alphabetical order, besides then you would never be able to find anything; they are in 'latest posted to' alphabetical order that changes as they're posted to, when a tutorial is posted to the order changes.

This one always stays on top:

Yes Good Point. So it starts with "S" second letter "e". I kind of expected it to be a bit like an English dictionary, i.e. second letter "e" would be on page 1 or 2, not after "System". on page 9. But not to worry, I can type fast when I need to!!

You're Welcome...but pages in "Tutorials Index" are constructed as they are displayed at each alphabetical letters.

A is post #0 (intro)
B is post #1
C is post #2...and so on...

For the general posting, come up the last respond to the post on any kind of the tutorials.
They mention the last post...no alphabetical order in.

Thanks to all for answers. Just confuddled me at the time, I knew I was looking for "S" page 2, but it had disappeared! (to page 3 as happens).

Actually, there is a Tutorial Index, where they are in alphabetical order, right?

There are actually lots of tutorials. Alphabetical order does not help me much since the same tutorial could be named slightly differently. A sorting by topic would be more useful. After all, if I am searching for a tutorial, I don't know its title, I only know what the problem is that I'm trying to resolve. Therefore a detailed subject index would be very useful.

Search accomplishes this only partially - every simple search query returns too many results, most of which are not relevant. This is to be expected - no search knows what I'm looking for, it only returns items where the words I typed in are present. Sometimes it takes a bit of thinking to create a useful (meaning leading to a useful result) search query. A subject index would simplify this process.

Organizing all those tutorials doing a lot of work for the one that had posted. The index is quite clear and made to be easy scrolling the list for what you're looking for, and i recon some looks similar during the search but find it both useful.

Yes, search is doing it partially but again, you get some answers you might not expect and make the experience more enjoyable by its diversity.
