Sevenforums loading very slowly

Anyone else having this problem? Like sometimes no matter what link you click it ether gets hung up or takes forever to load. I'll try other sites and they load up instantly, but sevenforums just likes to hang up sometimes throughout the day.

Anyone else?

Yep, been happening to me to lately, was thinking it was my internet. :|

What factors could produce a speed reduction on our end? I've been experiencing it for a few days now. I just ignored it though.

tracert sevenforums.com

Look for any lag in the output.

I've noticed this on this and a couple of other forum sites while using Firefox (current release) as my browser, but works fine with IE 8. I can browse 4-6 pages or so on a forum then there is a long lag (sometimes up to 45 seconds or so) before the page other pages will load.

This is the first I've seen someone else mention it though, but I think I'll check around some more and see if it might be related to Firefox.

I suppose I should throw in it happens to me on Firefox (3.5.3 > 3.7pre) and Chrome (latest dev version).

I have occasionally the same problem but only with Firefox. Lately I've checked it quite often; when Firefox tries and tries but nothing happens, I'll switch to Chrome and the site loads immediately.

BTW, this happens not only with Seven Forums, I'll get this mysterious issue with other sites, too. But like I said, only with Firefox.

Me, too. It does not happen at home, but at work. Every other page refuses to load under FireFox, but IE works fine. I started using IE TAB in Firefox, and that works fine.

Today around 11:45AM CET (10:45AM UTC) i had a 10 minute period when I was not able to open SF. Other websites were OK. Tried FF, IE and Chrome. The SF gadget was also not working during that period. Both the SF and gadget now fine.

Is the problem here, or did someone else have this issue?
