Sever Problem with Windows 7 and RAM Usage

Agreed. Its junk, which is why its preinstalled. Had to be poorly a programmed app that was doing it. Updating all your drivers now would be a good idea - use the guide in my sig.

Another update....I load every Office 2007 application, 8 iexplore sessions and an AirNav radarbox application and the RAM usage went up to only 33%, and the 4-core CPU usage stayed below 15% When I shut all the applications down the CPU usage dropped to an idle 1% and teh RAM dropped back down to 30%.

I think the problem has really been resolved. Thanks to those people making suggestions.

I updated all my drivers last weekend. As far as I know I am completely up to date. I would have thought that Dell Alienware would have a least publish about the conflict between their AlienFusion and Windows 7.
