Several BSOD

ok

now run your system with that RAM removed ..... are there any problems, BSOD , freeze ??

Again like i said before... you need at least 800W if you are using SLI....you maybe able to run with 750W but when you start stressing the cards.. thats when you have will start having problems... well that's my theory... if you need to test that you would need to take it to a computer shop or borrow a spare PSU from your friends...

Let me know the outcome

i will have to wait a few days to say for sure im not getting BSOD.

But my problem isnt that i cant start the computer with to graphic cards. The second card just start the fans on 100% and never stops. And as you see on the left side of the attached ss I dont have any settings i can set to enable SLI.

Yup i have done everything right except the PSU.

Im thinking that it starts the fans and then dont have enough power to start the GPU. Otherwise i cant find any problem for that. I might buy a new card Monday, but it would bee good to know why I cant use the SLI. If it is due to any failure on the motherboard, then i might have it changed within the waranty ;)

But you said both the cards are working fine !! why a new card ???

Best is to borrow a PSU for atleast 800 or 900W and run in the system with SLI ...... as far as i know this should solve the SLI problem..

I dont know anyone that has a 800W+ PSU and I cant borrow anything from a retailer without paying 50$. The local retailer also offered 150$ for both cards. Then i will have all the new technologies for graphic cards. Seems a little stupid to have a good CPU, motherboard and memery that have to wait for GPU everytime ;) But is 150 $ a good price for these old cards?

So you think buying new graphic cards and selling the old ones would solve your problem ????

I think that the memory was the problem, and that it is solved now. But why i cant use SLI is a mysterium. So using only one of the old cards is not good, so i want to buy a new one if i cant use my old ones in SLI and i cant find out what is making this problem ;)

Hey, I open this thread again. I just experienced BSOD again after installin the new memeries. The computer couldnt start without getting BSOD. I tried take out one of the memery cards. It didnt worked so i tried the other one and i can now use my computer again.

I will try running the memtest again later today but i also attached the minidumps if it could be anything else.

Well Well well look who is here !!!

nikolai..... i thought you said to did the memtest

I know im fast done with the test. so the results:

1. I tested with both mem cards. within 1 min it showed way over 2000 errors
2. I took out 1 card. Then there was no errors
3. I placed the second card in the firsts position and again it showed over 2000 errors imediately

So i just stopped the testing to report. Do i have to test any further? and can this be why i cant use SLI? anyway i will test if i can run SLI with only 4 GB mem

Did you follow the tutorial properly ... did you test each slot with 1 memory for 6 to 8 passes ????

Oh wait a minute... you are intelligent enough not to do that !!!

Oh look what you said below.....

I think that the memory was the problem, and that it is solved now. But why i cant use SLI is a mysterium. So using only one of the old cards is not good, so i want to buy a new one if i cant use my old ones in SLI and i cant find out what is making this problem

You where supposed to buy new graphics cards for your motherboard that was supposed solve all !!! Did you buy it !!!

Well i would suggest you go to a computer shop and pay money to get it repaired if you are not ready to listen to way we tell you to do ......

My last free advice ..... the BSOD again refer to memory corruption,,,,, either your memory slot or the memory is the problem....follow the test if you wish to and do memtest for EACH slot with 1 RAM AT A TIME !!

there was over 2000 errors on the second ram in each slot. So I went to my retailer and got 2 new. Now i have problems again. After removing one of them I dont have any problems. If i put it back in my computer at the same spot as the other one, there is problems.

Maybe im not explaining myself probably but i try as much as I can to follow your steps. Some of them cant i do right at the moment ;)

I went to my retailer yesterday to buy the graphic card, but he didnt have it so i bought it from somewhere else and it will be here in a few days.

So sum up:

It seems like the ram is making the problem not the graphic card. So that im buying a new one doesnt matter, only for better performance. I have went down to my retailer and got some new ram and it seems like som shitty one, becouse one of them doesnt work AGAIN!!

Ive told you to have patience, cuz this could take some time and I try to follow your advise as best as possible. I have a full time study and work to do and I cant have my computer running while sleeping because of noise and led lights.
