sorry was mixing up right clicking on c drive and hitting error checking/check now. It then asked me to reboot and then no scan and message said
"Volume is clean" which I have never heard of before. Thought maybe because it's a ssd?
Just ran sfc again and I still get the message..
found some corrupt files but unable to fix.
so I suppose I will have to live with it

as I thought that may be the issue but no good still.

tried this to reset but sfc still gives error
Follow steps mentioned below.
a. Open Control Panel.
b. Click on Ease of Access.
c. Click on Speech Recognition and then follow these steps:
d. Click on Advanced speech options in the left column.
e. Under Recognition Profiles, click New.
This will create a new speech recognition profile. Once the profile is created the original profile can be deleted. Also it will help to use the Train Profile button under the list of speech recognition profiles for the new profile.
