Hello. I come to you guys today to see if someone could please help me. Recently when i've gone to windows features to turn them on or off I just get a blank screen. I went to microsoft and did what they wanted, sfc /scannnow, but that just led to another problem. I keep getting Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service. Again back to microsoft, the solutions they offer (going to service and enabled some things) are already correct on my computer. So my next step, trying to boot into safe mode to see if I could run it. Well turns out I can't boot into safe mode, it hangs up on one of the drivers and just restarts loading windows back to normal. So i'm at a loss here. Any help would be great. The machine is running okay, did chkdsk /c nothing, memory test, nothing. cleaned registry. So any help would be great. Running Windows Pro(RTM).

Well I ran into a problem, because my internal cd/dvd drive is broken and all I have is a external drive. Does anyone know how I can boot off a external drive? I've tried changing boot sequence to usb, but that didn't do anything. And the only option i get booting from in windows is fresh install. Any help please? :)
