My Windows 7 installation is running worse than it was before after following a YouTube Tutorial on optimization. Also, running SFC /SCANNOW tells me that "Windows Resource Protection found corruptfiles, but was unable to fix some of them." Running SFC /SCANNOW /offbootdir=d:\ /offwindir=d:\windows yields the same result.

Patrick mate try this instead in safe mode

Run in cmd:
findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt
