Solved Sharing a copy of Win7 OEM without licence key. Against forum rules?

Hi Guys,

Earlier I was helping someone in a thread with a badly corrupted laptop hard drive. We tried alot of different options and approaches to revive the existing installation but no luck so far.

She cant use Toshiba's system restore what so ever, at the moment its looking like she may have to wipe the drive and install a complete new windows installation from disc. The only problem is she does not have an installation disc and the laptop never came with a system recovery disc.

Ok, when I'm home later tonight I will find the CD and make it into a ISO, then find a way to get it to you. You will need 1 blank DVD to burn the image to when you receive it.

Forum Administrators, The Image file of a original genuine Windows OEM installation CD I will be providing Kelly with will not be tampered with in any way and will not include any licence keys, key generators or activators. The file link will be sent to Kelly in a private message and not posted on this forum. If I will be breaking any forum rules please make me aware.

I didn't get a warning from an administrator, but I would like to ask the question and get an answer before I was to go ahead with it.

Its a grey area for me. Obviously I do know providing licence keys, activators etc is rule breaking and illegal.

Sharing a copy of any copyright material is against forum rules, even if the person has a licence the media has distribution restrictions.

That's fine, like I said it was a grey area to me. I didn't know how it would pan out if she does hold a genuine licence key.

Buying recovery disks from Toshiba at the link I posted would be the best way to handle things.

OP would also have them for future usage if necessary.
