Sharing a Network Printer

Hi All,

I am currently trying to set up sharing of a printer over my network

My computer that my printer is connected to is on Windows XP Home Edition (32 bit) and I want to share it to my laptop which is on Windows 7 (32 bit).

I have found various tutorials online and all goes well, up to the part where I go to print and it basically doesn't do a thing.

I'm quite good on computers until it comes to this sort of thing and I get completely lost!

So I have got rid of all my new settings on both computers so im back to the original settings as if I am ready to start the connection again.

Can anyone please advise me on how to do this, it might just be me having a blonde moment but it is really starting to do my head in!!!
