I have a mix of PC's. some are win 7 and some are XP set up in domain running server 2003.
One of the pc's is NOT in the domain and it is in its own work group.
It has one shared folder on that pc that has read only access for everyone.
All the pc's are able to map to the shared folder and access it ONLY if they use that pc's user ID and PW.
The problem comes into play when rebooting a pc. Xp stores the entered login info but Win7 does not. So I am forever being asked to come log them back in. Im tired of it. I can not add each user to that pc as it is not part of the domain. And I can not move it to the domain.
So can anyone help me figure out how to get win 7 to reconnect after reboot without prompting to be authenticated?
All ideas are welcome.
Thanks
