Hello everyone, I need to ask something: I have Xampp installed on my desktop pc and I would like can access my local websites from other computers within network, such as my notebook. Is it possible? Do I have to make some additional configurations on my router? I have tried to access the address 127.0.0.1 on my notebook but I didn't have success.

Thank you so much.

Hello,

On the desktop PC click start> run >type 'cmd' and click ok. In the black command prompt type 'ipconfig'. It will give you the IP address of the PC.

Note down the IP address and type it into the address bar on your browser (Followed by the web site name if required). Providing your desktop firewall is configured correctly you should be able to see the web pages.

If you are going to be doing this alot then I would thing about assigning a static address to the Desktop PC as if its on DHCP is will probably change.
