The problem with Shift-click started a couple years ago and has gradually became more off than on; and now, Control-click has also started misbehaving.
This happens when selecting images or folders and also when selecting text.
When it all started a couple years ago, Shift-click would maybe not work every fifth time I needed it.
Now, it is more like I get it to work one time in five.
Once it decides it is not going to cooperate, nothing I do will make it work; I just have to work around the problem and go on to something else.
Now, Control-click has also started intermittently not working, which is much more annoying that Shift-click not working.
These intermittent problems are definitely getting worse.
How do I fix this ?
