Intermittently I am having this problem where using the Shift key to select a string of multiple files does not work.
It is affecting both selecting multiple files and selecting lines of text.
So far as capitalizing letters of text, the Shift key works fine.
Control-Click to pick and choose multiple files still works.
When selecting files and it decides not to work, sometimes, I can get it to work by re-clicking the first file; and, sometimes, I can get it to work by going backwards.
The problem first showed up when selecting strings of text.
So far, whenever using the Click > hold Shift > Click method fails to select text, I can click-and-hold and drag the mouse to hi-lite a bit of text and that action will prompt the Shift key trick to start working as it should.
This problem is random and intermittent at the present, with no rhyme nor reason as to when it will show up; sometimes, things work fine, and other times they don't; however, it seems to show up more and more frequently.
