Solved Shockwave hassles

Gooday all. I am having trouble with flash player. When I click on a video link, nothing will happen for a few seconds then a com box appears telling me that flash-player is busy and do I want to try again or cancel. Starting to get annoying as it is happening more and more often. Any ideas most appreciated.

Does this happen in multiple browsers, or just one? I have seen people report that this occurred after installing Adobe Air. Does the popup box say Unresponsive plugin? Post a screenshot of the popup

If this is Firefox, try disabling all addons/extensions except Flash and see if the issue still occurs

Disable or remove Add-ons | Firefox Help

People have reported Flash does not play well with Silverlight, or Real Player for instance.. You can also boot to Safe Mode with Networking and see if the problem is gone there.

Thank you all. I have deleted and reinstalled flashplayer as per instructions and have so far not had any difficulties. I'll keep an eye on it for a few days and see what happens. Thanks.
