Today I caused a short circuit using 2 fan connectors. There was a smoke and my molex adapter cable melted. I quickly turned off the power. Even if my cooler wasn't dead yet even though the fan didn't work anyway now my Gainward 9600Gt gets very hot in short time. Should I buy a new graphic card and fan? Seems like some capacitors may have been damaged too. I have a regular display on my screen though Aside from hot temperature i don't see more issues.
