shortcut key to GO

hi! I never normally do this, and apologies for breaching forum code of conduct, but I'm feeling superfluous, and thought I'd take it straight to the man.

sooooo in the spirit of uber-productivity, I'm looking at my desktop, with a bulging sticky notes collection. It's my multi-clipboard, for semi-permanence. I'm learning the winkey-on-acid combos, and love how you can right-click and create new instances and cycle through open apps... just one GLARING omission: when I "right-click" an open app, most have default functionality: launch new instance (try) or show open, pin/unpin, close/close all. Some (chrome I love you since before you were designed) have sections: recently/most visited, tasks, and the usual suspects.

NONE (yet) have old-school Alt&whatever shortcut key to GO.
Can (and if so how) this be modified?
While I was there I was thinking on adding more context power to these guys... another post..

Thanks. It helped in that I learned that my previous misbehaver for Synergy restart ctrl+shift+s may have been due to my choice of combo, but have been having more joy with auto-hotkeys.

None of this relates to the specifics surrounding sticky notes. Unlike other apps, there's one instance, but lots of windows, so I couldn't create a new instance using windowskey+application# (1-9?)

I think I need to either

Re-establish the Underscoring convention in the (startmenu)taskbar context functionality (perhaps best illustrated by Visual Studio)

OR!!

Emulate the action being performed by sticky notes when the "new note" is selected

OR (oops)

CTRL+N. Was there all along as a tooltip, unsurprisingly as it's quite a common convention.... wtf?! ah well, box ticked!

So a month into getting this beautiful machine I'm still under the hood!

Thinking do I really need ANOTHER notes program (loads of chrome apps added to try still waiting to fit my iphone screen after smashing it. again. before trying sync usability comparison of apps)
