I don't know if this is something supported by the OS, but I figured I'd ask as I'm having difficulty finding a way to do it with Chrome (which is annoying as I did it with Firefox using two profiles and MKlinks to share the cache folder/history/bookmarks/etc).

Anyway, the desired result is this: a shortcut on my main monitor, and a shortcut on my second monitor. Each shortcut opens Chrome in a different specified location on the monitor the shortcut is on (by default windows opens it in its last closed location). The reason being for when games are fullscreen on my main monitor, I dont want the browser opening behind it or having to drag it back and forth.

Possible? My mind would like the believe its as easy as modifying the shortcut with -X,Y or something to specify the location.. but I doubt it.

You Can create a second user to do this. Under settings, add new user. it will create 2 new shortcuts user1 and user2 set it up on second monitor, set second chrome with bookmarks, resize the window to make explorer remember it position

Thanks for the suggestion, that is very true. But there are two main drawbacks to doing that, which is why I'm trying to find another option.

1) I couldn't be logged in to my Google account as both users, and therefore I couldn't sync my history/bookmarks/etc. I'd have to do everything twice, and if I ever go hunting for a link in my history I'd first have to figure out which monitor/profile I viewed it on..

2) Unlike in Firefox you can't share a cache folder between two profiles using Chrome... so that would be awfully wasteful and put unnecessary writes to my SSD. I could always try a symbolic link to the entire cache folder of the default user.. but that is less than ideal and I'm not sure if it would work. Especially if I were to accidentally open both profiles at one time, in which case I'm not even sure what would happen.
